LCC Asia Pacific Advises WearX on Divestment to leading Global Industrial company Metso

LCC Asia Pacific has provided strategic and financial advice to WearX  (www.wearx.com) in its successful divestment to leading Finnish player Metso (www.metso.com ).  

LCC's deal team was lead by Nicholas Assef, with James Stevenson from SWS Lawyers providing lead legal counsel to WearX. https://www.swslawyers.com.au/

The trade sale process run by LCC saw 4 final binding proposals tabled, in a targeted process where less than 8 parties were approached.  All final proposals were from international parties, confirming the strength in LCC’s cross border expertise to target & successfully execute M & A transactions in today’s “borderless” business community.

The final valuation for WearX was strong, although it remains confidential.  It would be described as a “lower mid market” sized transaction with a valuation multiple exceeding 11x TEV / EBIT on FY17A numbers (which translates into circa 9x Forward multiple on FY18B)

LCC continues to see strong demand for mining technology products & services plays from international parties, and anticipates additional deals happening within this vertical over the coming 6 to 12 months

LCC Asia Pacific expands Merger & Acquisition Research Reports

From May 2017 LCC Asia Pacific will expand the current research reports it publishes to include a publication that will conveniently make available a listing of all Merger & Acquisition Deals announced on the Australian Stock Exchange each month

"On average there are between 5 and 10 separate deal announcements each trading day, and there is no simple, cost effective and convenient way to follow all the action " Nicholas Assef, LCC's Executive Director commented.  What LCC is bringing online will fill that gap

The reports will be released and distributed through a number of research channels, including Bloomberg, Reuters and S & P.  The first publication will be available by 3rd June

LCC Asia Pacific at Australian 12 Foot Skiff National Titles

The LCC 12 Foot Skiff, sailed by Jono Temple and Richard Jones, has completed another great season including a final competition at the Australian National Titles across the April Easter Weekend

Pleasingly the Skiff has come 3rd overall, with the performance including a win in the first race of the Series.  LCC Director Nicholas Assef commented "We have been a sponsor of Jonathan and Richard for going on 9 years now, and are yet again thrilled with the performance of hte Skiff over the 2016 / 2017 Season
